sundays at the highland vineyard

Our desire is to create an atmosphere where all people will feel welcome and included. We like to think that Sunday morning is the party or shall we say, "God's party" and newcomers walking in the door are people we've sent invitations to. Once in the door, you can grab a cup of coffee or a pastry absolutely free from the Maker's blend cafe. In the main room where our celebration service is held you will experinece upbeat, contemporary music, followed by a culture-current message from the Bible. Sometimes there is special music, video clips, or mult-media that connect to the theme of the message. Our hope is that you will feel connected to the music, the message, the people and above all else to Jesus Christ in a personal way.

Since beginning in September of 1999, the church met in seven locations for seven years before finding it's permement home at 1649 Cowling Avenue in the ecclectic area of Louisville called: The Highlands. Together Vineyard Christian and Highland Christian came together for it's grand opening service on March 18, 2007 to form one community we now call: The Highland Vineyard..."church done differently."
